Special Events
Shakespeare Day
Students embraced the spirit of Shakespeare Day, with many making the effort to dress in Shakespeare-themed costumes before enjoying a special banquet together. Students then headed down to watch the Grade 6 Shakespeare performances, where they represented the school well through their respectful behaviour and enthusiastic support of the performers. It was lovely to hear one younger student comment that he “couldn’t wait until he was in Grade 6 so he could perform in a play too” — a wonderful reflection of how inspiring the performances were for our younger students.
Bike Challenge
Well done to all students who chose to participate in the Wellington Shire Bike Education Challenge Day. Students showed their skill and control while riding in events including the slalom, single push, slow ride, and hit the Spot challenges. Congratulations to Harley, Cuda, Oliver, Casey, Emmett, Tom, and Jack on winning or placing in one or more challenges.
