Foundation/Grade 1
We have settled well into Term 2, with new routines helping us make the most of our learning time. In Writing, students have focused on correct letter formation, sentence structure, capital letters, spaces, and punctuation. In Phonics, we have practised reading and building simple sentences using known sounds.
In Maths, students have been building number knowledge through games focused on facts to ten. We have explored days of the week, months of the year, and seasons while creating birthday charts and discussing special events throughout the year.
