Kitchen Garden Term 3, Weeks 4 & 5

During Weeks 4 and 5, students continued their world tour, exploring the language, culture and delicious food of France and Italy.

We immersed ourselves in the languages by greeting each other with “bonjour” and “ciao”, thanking others with “merci” and “grazie”, and responding in Italian with “prego.”

We discovered famous landmarks, history, food and culture in the classroom before working in teams to create delicious crêpes and pizzas! There were lots of positive reflection pages being filled in once again, and the scrap bucket had very little in it at the end of the sessions — a clear sign of how much everyone enjoyed these popular foods!
