F/1 Class Term 3, Weeks 6 & 7

In Foundation and Grade 1, we have been learning some new number games that have helped us practise our addition facts up to and beyond 20. We have been using connecting blocks to develop our skip-counting skills and exploring two-dimensional shapes by creating pictures and images.

In Phonics, we have been learning about the digraph /th/ and exploring how the sound can be either voiced or voiceless. Each day, we have been reading to our peers and identifying the qualities that make a great reader and listener. Throughout Book Week, we also enjoyed sharing and listening to some of our favourite stories from home.
