5/6 Class News weeks 6 & 7

Grade 5/6 Winter Sports

Last Friday the 29th of May, the Grade 5/6 students participated in the Heyfield District Winter Sports day. We played soccer, netball and tee ball. We had some students from St Michael’s (Heyfield) and Briagolong PS join our tee ball and netball teams; and it was great to see them working together so well. The students gave their best efforts on the day and demonstrated good sportsmanship throughout our wins and losses.

For some of our students, it was their first time playing an official sport in a team, so this was a big day full of new learning experiences. Thank you to the parents who came down to watch us play and cheer us on, it was much appreciated.
