Art Weeks 8 & 9

The last fortnight in Art has been a busy time of creativity and completion as students across the school finalised their projects.

The Grade 5/6 students have designed and constructed impressive 3D sculptures using a variety of materials. In Grade 3/4, students have designed and decorated electric guitars, which will soon be displayed on contrasting backgrounds to make their artwork stand out.

Our Grade 1/2 students have been exploring watercolour techniques while painting vibrant tropical birds inspired by Victorian contemporary artist Pete Cromer. The Foundation/Grade 1 students have completed decorating their pillowcases, which were presented to families and the school community at Friday's assembly. Thank you again to Debbie from Painesville for making the covers.
