Art Term 3, Weeks 8 & 9

Over the past fortnight, Art has been a busy place, with lots of students putting the finishing touches on their masterpieces!

Our Foundation/1 students completed their watercolour artworks and explored shape tracing. The 1/2 students finished their shape foxes by adding colour using paint. The 3/4 students completed their symbol artworks and explored different themes and the reasons symbols are used in art to represent an idea or message.

Our 5/6 students took part in some investigative work, matching well-known artists with their artworks and learning more about the artists behind these famous pieces.
