3/4 News Weeks 8 & 9

Students in Grade 3/4 were asked to share something they have improved in this term (note: some students were absent at the time of interviewing):

 I have improved:

Lucy – my handwriting by practicing joining writing

Jack – I have improved in writing information texts

Zaidee – my confidence to have a go

Ruby – writing information texts

Georgie – writing information texts. I liked learning cool facts about chickens

Odette – my confidence to have a go in maths

Jordana – writing neater using joining writing

Hailey – understanding of decimal numbers

Aubree – my handwriting. It is neater using joining writing

Anthony – spelling harder words

Ava – my handwriting. I make sure I have spaces between my words

George – my handwriting. I am now taking my time, and it is neater

Brayden – my handwriting. I am getting better at writing on the lines and controlling my letters

Levi – my handwriting and spelling words correctly

Mila – when writing facts for information texts

Nora – in understanding how to add decimal numbers

Eli – my understanding of decimal numbers and using mental strategies when adding and subtracting numbers

Olivia – my joint writing has improved

Olavi – in using compensation strategy for adding and subtracting in maths
