3/4 News Term 4, Weeks 2 and 3

Students in grade 3-4 in maths have been working on using spatial language to describe location, position, direction and movement of objects and people. With the beautiful weather they have been able to use both the playground and inclusive play area to write steps for another student to follow using this language from one point to another, then giving their partner the directions to see if they end up at the same place. The students have enjoyed completing this activity and building their spatial language for positions and directions.
