1/2 Class News Weeks 8 & 9

This week, students in Years 1/2 have demonstrated their English and Mathematics knowledge and skills through a range of benchmarking and reporting assessments.

In Literacy, students participated in timed assessments of nonsense words, real words and reading fluency passages. They also completed digital assessment tasks designed to measure their reading comprehension, vocabulary knowledge and understanding of sentence structure.

In Mathematics, students completed timed computation and applied problem-solving assessments. They also undertook digital assessment tasks to demonstrate their understanding of number, algebra, measurement, space and statistics.
