P E Term 3, Weeks 6 & 7

We have finished our first half of term focusing on our athletics skills, with the conclusion of our annual School Athletics Carnival. A huge congratulations to all students who participated on the day to help their house gain house points with Touchstone, crowned our overall carnival winners! Students throughout the day demonstrate their skills, and sportsmanship. Thank you to all those that helped on the day to make it successful. We have 18 students representing the school on Tuesday 1st September at Heyfield and District in Sale, wishing them all the best for their events.

The focus the last two weeks has been on hockey. Students have been developing their fundamental hockey skills, including stick handling, passing, receiving and shooting. They have also been putting these skills into practice through a modified game, where they have been working on teamwork, communication, movement and decision-making.

It has been great to see students building their confidence and enjoying the opportunity to develop their hockey skills while working together as a team.
