Throughout this term, we have been focusing on Phonics Plus. The group of Year 2 students, along with some Year 1 students, has been working on suffixes and the sound of 'ee' in words. They have come up with many words and have been able to explain the meaning of the suffixes in those words.

Last week, the 1/2 students, along with the 3/4 students, went on an excursion last Thursday to learn about endangered animals and plants.

During the outing, the students chose a cutout of an endangered animal to paint, and some even extended their cutouts with additional drawings. Following this, they explored Lake Gutheridge with binoculars to observe the bats and the protected speckled ducks.

We will showcase the entire school's endangered animal creations near the OSCH building.
