During Book Week, our class read an amazing true story about moving the location of the Sydney Zoo. At the time of the move, there wasn't a truck big enough to transport Jessie the Elephant. Jessie had to take quite a journey on foot to the new Zoo. This gave us many questions about the nature of Elephants. Linking to our learning about non-fiction text, our class has been researching Elephants and has learnt some interesting new information.
