Art weeks 6 & 7

Art this fortnight has seen lots of projects being completed across the school. The senior grades have been finishing their striking black-and-white bird artworks set against contrasting-coloured circles. They are looking amazing, and we can’t wait to display them around the school.

The 3/4 students have begun creating maps of Australia using contrasting coloured wax crayons and coloured paper on black cardboard. The 1/2 students are using watercolours to design their own rainforest birds, which will be displayed amongst a rainforest backdrop made from strips of green paper. Our F/1 students are busy decorating cushion covers using fabric markers. We would like to thank Debbie from Painesville for generously taking the time to make these for us. We can’t wait to show you the finished products!
