3/4 News Term 4, Week 1
Wow! What an amazing start to our term we have had! All students have been demonstrating our school values by aiming high in their learning, they have been showing peers and staff alike respect, curiosity is coming though loudly during our learning time and honourable displays of behaviour are being seen in all areas. What a great way to start our final term of the year!
In Literacy, students have started our new text study on ‘Strangers on Country.’ This study will focus on European Settlement and how it impacted on Indigenous communities, as well as the relationships that were formed during those early years of European exploration.
In Maths, students have begun learning about Shape and Objects with Miss Smith and Money with Mrs Gavin. These focus areas should take us through to Camp.
We have some changes to our afternoon specialist programs and will now run our own programs within our classrooms or teams this term.
Mondays – Humanities with Miss Smith
Tuesdays – Performing Arts with Miss Hunter
Wednesdays – PE with Miss Smith
Thursdays – Coding with Mrs Gavin
Fridays – Assembly (odd weeks) /SWPBS (even weeks)
We look forward to an exciting and busy term with our Grade 3-4 students.
