Lions Club Competition

A big congratulations to our Lion’s Club Public Speaking participants - Timmy, Liz, Felicty and Abby, who received their certificates this week. We wish Abby and Liz the best of luck as they move to the next round. The most amazing aspect of listening to our students speak, was the courage of our first-time participants taking on the challenge of public speaking and our return speakers for their growth mindset. Last year’s students were given specific feedback that would support the development of their public speaking skills and both students applied this in their most recent speech. This was a wonderful example of growth mindset and challenging learning in action.
