Kitchen Garden Week 2

It was great to come back to school and see thriving plants in the kitchen garden. The cooler weather meant there have been fewer white cabbage butterflies eating our plants. The dwarf beans have started to produce beans and we will harvest and freeze these until we have enough to cook with.

We have learnt about the story behind Anzac biscuits and everyone enjoyed eating them. The students are becoming more confident at using the ovens and love watching whatever they have made cooking.
