Kitchen Garden week 1

It was great to return to school and see our vegetables had survived over the summer. Thanks to the Martin family and Deb French who kept them watered. (The boys enjoyed their payment in strawberries.) We will use the zucchinis next week in our cooking classes.

We are looking for volunteers who can regularly commit an hour weekly or fortnightly to help with maintenance of the gardens, which would mainly involve weeding and soil preparation. This will give the students the opportunity to do more planting and sustainability activities.
