F/1 Class
Foundation and Grade 1 students have settled in well to our new routines. It has been wonderful to see their growing independence as they remember what is needed each morning to prepare themselves for the day’s learning.
Our Foundation students have begun learning letter names and sounds, building their skills to blend, read and write three-letter words. In Grade 1, students have been consolidating their understanding of digraphs (two-letter sound combinations) through both reading and writing activities.
In Mathematics, we have been practising counting and writing numbers, as well as creating and counting collections of objects to strengthen our number knowledge.
We are also continuing to build positive relationships through play-based games that encourage teamwork and resilience.
