Welcome to Term 2!

It’s been a great first week back. We have published our holiday recounts in the form of holiday ‘snapshots’ – pun intended!

In writing, we have started looking at types of poetry. As part of this, we wrote cinquain poems about Anzac Day.

Cinquain poems follow a certain structure, having five lines in total:

1.      Noun

2.      Adjective, adjective

3.      Verb, verb, verb

4.      4 word phrase

5.      Synonym

Anzac day is an important day to commemorate the bravery and dedication of the soldiers who served in the war.
