1/2 Learning
There has been fantastic learning happening in the 1/2 classroom!
Grammar: Students have been exploring the difference between common and proper nouns, learning how to identify and use them correctly.
Writing: Using story graphs and picture prompts, students are developing different parts of a story, strengthening their storytelling skills.
Spelling: Our focus has been on representing sounds using graphs and digraphs, as well as having fun creating alliteration sentences.
Morphology: Students are discovering how prefixes change the meaning of words by adding them to the beginning of base words.
